Mercy. Mercy.

“Stanley Williams now seeks mercy, the very mercy he so callously denied his four victims…Stanley Williams does not deserve this mercy,” said assistant head deputy district attorney, John Monaghan, and deputy district attorney David Walgren.

I don’t think that the people involved in this case have a clear idea of what mercy is. I sure hope that Ahnold does. I hope that one day we all will.

Nobody deserves mercy. By definition, if you deserve mercy, it’s not mercy. Justice, maybe, but not mercy.

I think Stanley Williams should live and face God in His time. I believe that all people are better than the worst thing they’ve ever done. I need to believe that for you because I need to believe it for me too.
